Dr Bernadka Dubicka

Dr Dubicka qualified in medicine at University College London, completed her training in child psychiatry in Manchester and is a consultant in an adolescent inpatient unit in Lancashire. In 2015 she was elected as vice-chair of the RCP Child and Adolescent faculty, and took over as chair in June 2017. She has a research interest in mood disorders, with expertise in clinical trials and evidence based practice. Dr Dubicka is a member of the National Institute of Health Research, Health Technology Assessment Mental Health funding panel where she promotes the importance of developing evidence based treatments, and is a clinical advisor for the NHSE North West Strategic Clinical Network. She is an editor of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Journal, and speaks regularly at national and international meetings.
