Dr. Paul Chadwick is Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the UCL Centre for Behaviour Change where he leads a diverse portfolio of work dedicated to improving society through the application of interdisciplinary approaches to behaviour change. Dr. Chadwick’s research interests are in the use of behaviour change frameworks to develop and evaluate behavioural interventions to improve health and wellbeing in populations with chronic disease, as well as community interventions to prevent chronic disease such as diabetes prevention and obesity management. He has been at the forefront of research into behaviour change interventions for childhood obesity for many years, and have been involved with the development of several trials to establish the feasibility, efficacy, effectiveness and impact at scale of community-based child obesity interventions.
