RoSPA is the UK’s leading accident prevention charity. Founded as the London Safety First Council in 1916 to tackle the rise in traffic accidents, today RoSPA’s work spans the safety spectrum from home, leisure, road and education to the workplace.

RoSPA published Safe and active at all ages: a national strategy to prevent serious accidental injuries in England in 2018. The strategy advocates a public health approach to accident prevention and shows how a range of local and national players could deliver reductions in accident rates and the associated injury burden.
