Amelia is a Senior Associate at Browne Jacobson LLP and has many years’ experience as a solicitor resolving clinical negligence claims, acting on behalf of NHS Resolution and NHS Trusts. She also has experience of representing claimants.
In her role as Risk Management Lead, Amelia works with NHS Resolution, NHS Trusts and other healthcare organisations to support learning in a variety of areas, including incident investigations, complaints and the Learning from Deaths programme. Amelia has also undertaken ‘deep dive’ reviews of inquests and claims for individual NHS Trusts, triangulating this data with information from incidents and complaints to highlight and examine specific trends and identify learning to help improve patient safety and also, hopefully, reduce litigation.
