David is the Head of Operations for NHS App and NHS Covid Pass, the key responsibilities are ensuring live service is operational, the highest levels of customer care are maintained and championing the user when designing processes. From release to retirement the Head of Operations will manage KPIs and with key stakeholders when issues arise.
David is an experienced Operations Head who has worked across a number of NHS programmes and services, including national campaigns such as Change4Life and Stoptober websites, the NHS Website and other health apps. David is passionate about improving the citizen’s experience of interacting with the NHS and about using technology to help ease the burden on NHS staff and patients. Working with the NHS Consortium for Global Health, David has worked with international governments (Brazil, Germany, USA and Saudi Arabia) to improve their digital offering and to work collaboratively on access to services for all citizens.
