Di is the lead for professionalism within the Building a Digital Ready Workforce programme, part of the national Digital Transformation Portfolio. She has led and collaborated on many projects to support informatics specialists’ development, careers and professionalism, including the establishment of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics and the Federation for Informatics Professionals. Amongst other projects, she is currently working on researching and establishing career pathways in informatics and the development of a professional network for Women of Colour in informatics, called the Shuri Network. She is passionate about anything and everything that supports people’s development in the workplace. Di has many years’ experience in the NHS in a variety of roles in HR and learning and development and has an MSc in workplace development and performance management.
