Dr Andrew Mowat

Dr Andrew Mowat is a retired GP and Programme Lead Director/Vice Chair for the Lincolnshire Refugee Doctor Project. He also chairs the Trustees of BMA Charities, a funding body for medical students, refugee doctors and doctors in hardship. He is a member of the BMA Refugee Doctor & Dentist Liaison Group, and an Associate Member of the World Medical Association. He continues to mentor GPs and primary care staff, and delivers Safeguarding training in Lincolnshire. He is married with grown-up children, and enjoys singing and walking in his spare time.

Andrew has the responsibility for seeking funding opportunities and stakeholder engagement for the LRDP.
