Lucy has over 25 years working in the social care sector with both children and adults. She has worked with children in care, and adults with disabilities in special needs housing before spending many years working within Criminal Justice, initially as a Probation Officer before moving into Youth Justice. She managed the Youth Offending Service in West Sussex for 8 years before moving to the Voluntary Sector with Barnardo’s as Assistant Director of Children’s Services for Surrey and Sussex and now as Interim Head of London. “For me it’s all about being purposeful and ensuring those children, young people and adults who can often feel unheard and devalued receive services they need, when they need them most.”
