Hazel has been at Mind since 2012 as the Head of the Local Services Strategy and Development Unit. Hazel leads a successful team that works to support and sustain the local Mind Network through the development and delivery of new business opportunities and mental health products. The Unit has successfully generated income for new services and also leads in redesigning services through an award winning Service Design Methodology. The Unit’s work is produced in partnership with the local Mind Network and lives the Mind values by ensuring that people with lived experience of mental health issues are at the heart of everything we do.
Hazel worked in the Social Housing sector for over 30 years and held a wide range of senior positions in Local Authorities and Registered Social Landlords. She has a successful track record in managing change, strategic and operational management and leadership and service development.
