Janet Ortega is the Head of Integrated Care at the Care Quality Commission. The work of the integrated care team includes assessing services across populations and care pathways through activities such as thematic reviews, for example the end of life care. Janet trained as a nurse and has worked in both health and social care; in services for people with mental health needs and services for older people. Janet has worked in the regulation of health and care services for a number of years, before moving to focus on integrated care.
