Katie Fawcett started working with NACCOM in March 2020 and is one of 3 Network Development Co-ordinators covering the whole of the UK.
Katie’s role at NACCOM is to promote good practice and support members in the establishment of sustainable accommodation projects that reduce destitution and homelessness for those with NRPF.
Katie started her career in the asylum and refugee sector in 2002 at the St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax, where she helped set up and lead a support centre specifically for people seeking asylum and refugees. This led her to help set up several destitution projects including a local foodbank, night shelter and a supported community housing charity.
