Kim Rihal is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Equal Education, a social enterprise that provides bespoke tutoring for vulnerable and disadvantaged learners, with a focus on Children Looked After, those who are adopted and those with Special Educational Needs.
Kim was previously Virtual School Head at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Assistant VSH at the London Borough of Islington. She was selected as one of EY’s Winning Women in 2019 and nominated as the Mayor of London’s Future Leader in Education.
She led a virtual school team to an Outstanding OFSTED rating, dramatically improved GCSE results while saving money that she redirected to support children most in need. She is passionate not just about social mobility but social justice.
