Louise works for GreaterSport, the charity working to inspire a healthier future in Greater Manchester by increasing activity among the people of the city region. Louise works to position and advocate for physical activity in the structures, systems and strategies of Greater Manchester in order to improve health and social care outcomes. She also works with partners to test and develop scalable, evidence based approaches, based on the principle of behaviour change in order to support a sustained increase in activity participation.

Louise manages a small team that promotes and educates the early years profession to uses physical activity to support the best start in life for the children of Greater Manchester. Other programmes she is currently working on include a pilot of Beat the Street in Salford and connecting physical activity to the Ageing Well work.

Outside of work Louise is very active, enjoying walking, running, cycling and swimming and trying new sports and activities for fun.
