Michelle has worked for Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust for 26 Years and during this time has gained a wealth of experience.
She is a Registered Nurse with a clinical background in surgery and radiology. She is passionate about helping and supporting others into the caring profession. Michelle is currently responsible for leading and supporting 3 intakes of clinical apprentices each year, right from advertisement to completion and securing a substantive position. She line manages a team of assessors and is lead Internal Verifier for her cohorts. Her role is interesting and varied and covers anything from teaching to pastoral support for the many issues the apprentices have!
Michelle feels her job is hugely rewarding as there is nothing like the feeling of knowing you’ve helped somebody achieve their dream sometimes against all the odds
