Paul is the lead Consultant Paramedic at the North East Ambulance Service NHS foundation trust, he has a special interest in advanced practice providing the strategic direction for urgent care advanced practice and critical care advanced practice, he remains patient focused spending 30% of his work time operationally and is currently looking at expanding the paramedic pathfinder pilot to become regional wide Paul has an interest in evidence based practice and strategically leads the Research and Development department at NEAS who are the leading ambulance trust for research in 2016/17
