Sharon has worked in the NHS for over twenty years, mostly in primary care. She started as a practice manager, worked in a PCT supporting improvements in access and also medicines management. Sharon joined the National Primary Care Development Team (NPDT) as a regional manager, with the focus of work moving to quality improvement and service redesign, particularly around diabetes, COPD and CHD. She has also supported QI in cancer services and currently works for the West Midlands Clinical Network, part of NHSE, supporting QI in dementia and IAPT services across the West Midlands region.
