Wendy has worked in the NHS for many years, working in Acute services in Sheffield, the East Midlands & voluntarily overseas. Also previously had national/regional roles in Patient Safety and Quality. For the last six + years Wendy has been Executive Lead Nurse/Midwife for Lincolnshire West CCG and since 2016 has had clinical and governance responsibility for Integrated Urgent Care on behalf of the four Lincolnshire CCGs. Wendy has worked in partnership with the system Urgent Care team and local provider services to establish the Lincolnshire Clinical Assessment Service, plus Urgent Care Streaming. The lead provider for the Clinical Assessment Service in Lincolnshire is Lincolnshire Community Health Services working in close alliance with East Midlands Ambulance Service, Derbyshire Health United NHS 111 and the other Lincolnshire service providers, including care homes.
