Dr Emma Groves is a Clinical Psychologist within the Humber and North Yorkshire Resilience Hub. Following completion of her doctorate at Teesside University, Emma has worked across a variety of services within the NHS and private sector including forensic services and services for care experienced young people. As a result, Emma’s expertise and clinical interests lie within the treatment of complex trauma, PTSD and attachment related difficulties. She currently leads the Trauma Pathway and provides supervision, consultation and leadership both internally and externally as well as specialist assessments and psychological interventions.

Emma is passionate about providing timely and evidence-based interventions to address the debilitating impact of psychological trauma in health and care workers. In addition to this, she provides support to organisations in order to promote trauma informed practice and understanding of team dynamics.
