Lizzie Whittington has been a member of the DBS Partnerships team since 2020 and covers the East Midlands region. She comes from a local authority background and is passionate about sharing good practice around safeguarding.
She supports organisations in her area by:
• answering DBS-related queries and providing advice via phone/email
• attending meetings, training and conferences
• developing and delivering presentations, workshops, webinars around DBS products and services.
• helping organisations/networks to understand what level of DBS check can be applied for, and what information these checks will provide
• informing organisations and employers of their duty or power to refer
