Martin Peat has spent the majority of his career in the construction industry. He was Managing Director of three major construction companies during 1992 to 2004, where he developed specific skills in procurement, bid management and negotiations of major projects including Private Finance Initiatives (PFIs). In 2004 he joined the Department of Health Commercial Directorate as Deal Execution Lead where he successful led procurements in the ISTC programme, PET-CT Scanning, Fairness in Primary Care, Child Weight Management and West Midlands Mental Health. Martin has been the commercial lead for SPT projects since 2009.
