Catherine Dale has nearly twenty years’ experience in the NHS in London, including more than fifteen years in service improvement and transformation roles. In her role within the AHSN Network, Catherine is the co-lead for the Health Innovation Network’s national patient safety collaborative programme enhancing reliable care for deteriorating patients. She is an expert in the quality improvement methodology Experience-Based Co-Design (EBCD) and developed the EBCD toolkit. In 2017 she taught on the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s inaugural ‘Co-design College’ in Boston, USA. Catherine has a Masters in Business Psychology and served a four-year term as a Labour Councillor in Southwark.
