Dr Quazi Haque is Executive Medical Director of Elysium Healthcare and Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Forensic Quality Network. Quazi trained in forensic psychiatry at the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of psychiatry, and has since held senior clinical, academic and managerial positions at HMP Belmarsh, the Home Office, the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and Priory Group. He is an alumnus of the Windsor Leadership Trust and remains involved in their senior leadership network. Between 2011 and 2016 Quazi was Group Medical Director of Partnerships in Care.
Quazi is an influential academic and has authored many original papers and books. He is Chair of the International Association of Forensic Mental Health Services (IAFMHS) Service Strategy and Delivery Network and has been re-elected as chair of the UK Forensic Quality Network. Quazi has been awarded as Fellow of the Institute of Directors and in 2016 shortlisted as Psychiatrist of the Year by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Quazi has a range of interests and expertise, but is particularly passionate about fostering innovation in mental health that is accessible for service users and their families.
