Eli Smith is a Project Worker with CHANGE’S Out Spoken project and a Group Support Worker with People In Action’s Out in Leeds group.
Bringing together his first-degree honours in Creative and Professional Writing (2019) with his lived experience helps him in his community development roles.
His approach to work is influenced by the neurodiversity paradigm with a goal to destigmatise autistic communication and processing styles.
Eli is also a poet, writer, performer and activist who speaks about his experience as an LGBTQ+ disabled person.
