Eve Smyth is a Research Associate at What Works for Children’s Social Care (WWCSC). WWCSC seeks to improve the lives of children and families through setting standards in research and generating the best evidence into what works in children’s social care. Most of Eve’s research so far has focused on using administrative data to understand the current landscape relating to residential care and kinship care in England. This is with the aim of identifying how to better support children in care through evidence-based interventions.
