Hannah began working in the non-profit sector in 2008 and has managed several projects in the last ten years focussing on the health and care needs of seldom-heard groups. In July 2014, Hannah joined Healthwatch Essex to gather the health and social care lived experience of young people, in order to influence positive change to the services young people use and need. As part of this role, Hannah has worked with seldom-heard groups of young people such as ex-offenders; gypsy, Roma and traveller communities; migrant communities; children in care; young carers and most recently young people receiving mental health inpatient care. Hannah uses the findings from these projects to give a platform to these young people’s voices across a range of health and care settings.
