Jenny has worked at Essex County Council for the majority of her working life and have always had a role in supporting adults with disabilities including providing frontline services, contract management and most recently as provider quality innovation manager.
Her current role looks at intelligence from CQC data, internal audits and information taken from LeDeR reviews of the deaths of adults with learning disabilities in Essex. They identify themes, trends and gaps in provider skill and knowledge and then look at how they can potentially bridge the gaps with training, conferences, and a variety of other learning opportunities.
The best part of the role is working in partnership, whether that is with colleagues from health services or adults with learning disabilities who are experts by experience and deliver training alongside us.
