Justine is a Safety and Learning Lead for the London region at NHS Resolution, supporting health organisations with the spread of learning from claims and adoption of safety recommendations. She leads for mental health, learning disabilities and clinical care groups and is involved in a number of patient safety research projects.
She joined the NHS over twenty years ago, starting as a general dietitian and then specialising with a clinical career in paediatrics. Later, progressing into several different general operational management roles across health system including community services, acute clinical outpatient specialities, elderly care as well as private nutritional consultancy. During this period, she additionally co-founded the National Paediatric Allergy group, undertook a national role as public relation officer for the British Dietetic Association and contributed to London malnutrition guidelines. She has a passion for supporting service transformation and change to improve safety and fiscal budgets. Most recently, developing a special interest in how artificial intelligence and legal mediations can help reduce claims. Academically she holds a degree in Human Nutrition and dietetics and a Masters in Public Administration.
