Dr Nicholas Kofi Adjei is a Social Epidemiologist. He obtained his PhD in Public Health (Magna cum Laude) from the University of Bremen, Germany. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Demography (Distinction) from Stockholm University, Sweden, and a BA (Hons) Degree in Sociology & Geography from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology in Bremen, Germany. Currently, he is a Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool, Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems. Since 2016, he has authored/co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles in leading public health journals including The LANCET Regional Health-Europe. Some of his research has been publicized through interviews and quotations in various major international and national public media such as DW, Daily mail, the Irish Times, iNews, Science News and Medical News Today. He is an Assistant Editor for the Open Medicine Journal, formerly Central European Journal of Medicine.
