Sandra is Head of the National Energy Foundation’s Households and Communities team. Sandra is a SuperHomer having improved the energy performance of her home to make a 78% carbon saving through a combination of wall, floor and roof insulation, a high efficiency gas boiler and solar panels. Together with other senior staff at NEF Sandra is working on the redevelopment of the SuperHomes project.
As well as managing the Foundation’s Households and Communities Team Sandra has experience of managing and delivering a number of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects including two EU funded projects focused on the development of Energiesprong (Transition Zero and E=0), YouGen and a Green Deal Communities project (focused on the installation of solid wall insulation) on behalf of South Bucks District Council.
Sandra is fortunate enough to work a dedicated team who are dedicated to reducing fuel poverty on behalf of Local Authorities across Buckingham and Oxfordshire through the Better Housing Better Health service.
