Shilla Shomai is a PhD student at the University of Worcester. She has an MA in Childhood, youth and Social policy and is passionate about the development of research within the Families and early childhood field.
Previously, Shilla worked as an ambassador for Who Cares? Scotland, a Scottish based charity. She delivered corporate parenting to the Scottish Parliament, United Nations Convention on the rights of the child (UNCRC), the NHS as well as colleges & universities across Scotland. Shilla is passionate about advocating for under-represented groups in communities as well as widening access and participation in education.
