Shiva works as a Learning Disability Community Liaison Pharmacist at East London NHS Foundation Trust. She has rolled out STOMP de-prescribing clinics across the Boroughs of Newham, Hackney and City and Tower Hamlets in East London. She was worked with the Newham Health Collaborative to tackle COVID19 vaccine hesitancy in Learning Disabilities, and provided home vaccinations for needle-phobic patients
Shiva previously worked at East London NHS Foundation Pharmacist as a clinical pharmacist on inpatient wards, and as a specialist clinical pharmacist for Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust, working with patients with Serious Mental Illness and Learning Disability.
Shiva is a qualified Independent Prescriber, with a scope of practice in Schizophrenia. She trains GPs and other clinicians on STOMP and de-prescribing practice.
