Susan's career journey within children’s social care started with being a Leader and Manager within the voluntary sector. This was the stepping stone into children’s residential care and a very rewarding professional development. After 10 years, she then took a leap into the local authority as a service manager for 16 children’s homes, progressing into the challenge of Principle Manager for Looked After Children where her drive and passion for children and young people was strengthened. Susan then moved into Exceptional Care LTD in May 2017, where the focus has been about team work, succession planning and effectively driving and aspiring the development of the company. Thye work as a team at Exceptional Care and Think Tank Academy and cannot do the job without this approach in all departments. Professionally, they all hold the same ethical values and work hard for the best outcomes.
