Annie has over a decade of NHS experience with various organisations and professional groups. She is a subject matter expert on the NHS Directory of Services (DoS) and is knowledgeable on how to manage patient referrals via NHS 111 and around the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) system.

She currently works as part of the Integrated Urgent Care Delivery team, and Pharmacy Integration team at NHS England and NHS Improvement.

Her NHS career has been focused on the access patients have to services and what information they are given. She has held both national and regional positions (East of England).

She has a health psychology and sociology degree, and a master’s degree in health research. She is a trained Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and in her spare time she is a committee member for her local Embroiderers Guild.
